Went to get our usual bottle and discovered, surprise, surprise, it had\nrun out at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.awin1.com\/cread.php?awinmid=2041&amp;awinaffid=175921&amp;clickref=&amp;p=%5B%5Bhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.boots.com%252Fcalpol-sixplus-sugar-free-suspension-80ml-10084647%5D%5D\">Boots<\/a>\nand Asda. Managed to get a 24 packet of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.awin1.com\/cread.php?awinmid=2041&amp;awinaffid=175921&amp;clickref=&amp;p=%5B%5Bhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.boots.com%252Fcalpol-sixplus-fastmelts-strawberry-flavour-6-years-24s-10069290%5D%5D\">fastmelts<\/a>,\nwhich we\u2019ve never had before &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Flour (plus yeast)<\/strong> &#8211; We make quite a lot\nof bread; 350g of flour will make a loaf and it costs about 30p <\/p>\n\n\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6786083538751691\" data-ad-slot=\"7870389928\"><\/ins><\/p>\n<p><script><\/p>\n<p>     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<\/p>\n<p><\/script><\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Paracetamol \u2013 <\/strong>Matt suffers with headaches, so we always need some in the house. Also, required if we get a temperature. We were extremely low, so I bagged two very cheap packets at Lidl. <em>Which?<\/em> has a great article about the cheapest places to buy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.which.co.uk\/news\/article\/revealed-cheapest-places-to-buy-popular-medicines-aWqKo9C0rghX\">popular medicines<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cannellini beans, kidney beans, chickpeas \u2013 <\/strong>these are\nstaples of so many <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theparentsocial.com\/family-meal-inspiration-2019\/\">favourite family\nmeals<\/a>. They are always on my shopping list. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lentils<\/strong> \u2013 We had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbcgoodfood.com\/recipes\/lincolnshire-sausage-lentil-simmer\">Lincolnshire\nsausage &amp; lentil simmer <\/a>for the first time the other week. Amazingly\nthe kids loved the Puy lentils; healthy, filling and pretty cheap, I\u2019m going to\nbuy more and look for other recipes. Suggestions welcome &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tinned tuna \u2013 <\/strong>We\u2019re all fans of fresh fish, but store cupboard tuna pasta bake is one of Maria\u2019s favourites. It requires two tins of the fishy stuff, so I\u2019ll make sure I get some in<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wine<\/strong> &#8211; No explanation required <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.theparentsocial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/IMG_0993.jpg?fit=702%2C527\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6595\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">We&#8217;re no strangers to wine stockpiling at any time<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Berries, bananas and any other fruit that freezes well \u2013 <\/strong>Not just about fruit, this is a good <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/lifeandstyle\/2013\/nov\/23\/what-food-freezes-well-and-what-doesn-t-freeze-well\">guide on stocking your freezer<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Frozen vegetables<\/strong> \u2013 I\u2019m a big fan of frozen veg anyway:\nit works out cheaper, means I include it more regularly in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theparentsocial.com\/family-meal-inspiration-2019\/\">kids\u2019 meals<\/a>\nand it cuts down significantly on waste <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Milk<\/strong> \u2013 We get ours delivered from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theparentsocial.com\/milkmore-milk-delivery-service-review\/\">milk&amp;more;<\/a> no trips to the supermarket and it comes in environmentally-friendly glass bottles. They also deliver our eggs, butter, orange juice and a number of other groceries  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rice<\/strong> \u2013 Another staple in our household from accompanying winter warming chilli con carne to a quick egg-fried rice at lunch <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Replenish first aid kit<\/strong> \u2013 embarrassingly, until a couple of years ago I didn\u2019t have one. Make sure you do (for any event).
