School holidays can be an expensive time, but there are bargains to be had. Here’s a round up of some great offers this half term.<\/p>\n

Entertaining the kids this half term<\/h2>\n

Bowling<\/h4>\n

Hollywood bowl<\/a> is laying on lots of\u00a0activities and prizes this February half term. Early birds bowling before 10am can get a 25% discount. Just\u00a0enter the code\u00a0‘FEB2025’<\/strong>\u00a0at checkout.<\/p>\n

Tenpin<\/a>\u00a0is offering two\u00a0games of bowling and a burger meal for \u00a38.70 for Juniors and \u00a311.20 for Adults. This is available Monday to Friday until 5pm over the February half term.<\/p>\n

Paintball<\/h4>\n

If booked via Groupon (link here)<\/a>\u00a0you can get a paintball experience for up to five at Paintball Network<\/a> for \u00a35. That includes 100 balls and light lunch each. For \u00a310 and \u00a315 you can get the same for up to 10 and 15 people. That’s a whopping 96% discount!<\/p>\n

There are loads of venues throughout the country<\/a>; players must be 10 or above.<\/p>\n

Cinema<\/h4>\n

Vue<\/strong> – Children aged 2-12yrs can get cinema tickets from \u00a32.49 every morning during the school holidays (accompanying adults also only pay \u00a32.49 plus 75p booking fee). Vue’s\u00a0Mini Mornings<\/a>\u00a0screen the best kids films and family films at lots of locations in the UK. Don’t forget, you can also pay using Nectar points \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Odeon<\/strong> also has a great offer on during school holiday mornings. Adult and kids’ tickets at participating\u00a0cinemas<\/a>\u00a0are \u00a32.50 each for selected movies (there’s a 75p online booking charge per ticket).\u00a0Showings vary between cinemas. Golf<\/h4>\n

Topgolf<\/a>\u00a0is running its\u00a0Eat, Drink, Play<\/a> deal this February half term between the 17th and 20th (from 11-1pm and from 4-6pm) at its nationwide locations. Visitors get a meal, drink and two games for just \u00a311 for juniors and \u00a317 for adults.<\/p>\n

Big attractions nationwide<\/h4>\n

Daysoutguide.co.uk<\/a> in association with National Rail offers 2FOR1 on 100s of attractions nationwide including: LEGOLAND, London Dungeons,\u00a0Thorpe Park,\u00a0Liverpool Cathedral,\u00a0London Zoo, Cadbury World, SEA LIFE Centres, Alton Towers and Chessington World of Adventures.<\/p>\n

National Trust<\/h4>\n

As always, I thoroughly recommend getting a National Trust<\/a> membership. After the initial outlay of \u00a3126 for a family membership for a year (or \u00a310.50 a month) you get access to 100s of great places countrywide all year round. It really is great value for money.<\/p>\n

Kids eat free\/\u00a31 deals this half term<\/h2>\n

Plenty of high street favourites are offering kids eat free deals this February half term. Head to Bella Italia<\/a>, Las Iguanas<\/a>,\u00a0Yo Sushi!,<\/a>\u00a0Brewers Fayre<\/a>\u00a0or La Tasca<\/a> to bag a freebie meal this half term. You can even combine your weekly shop with a free meal for the kids at Morrisons<\/a>. Carluccio’s<\/a>, Toby Carvery<\/a>\u00a0and Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0are offering \u00a31 meals for children.<\/p>\n

\"Half<\/p>\n

Something a bit posher or different?<\/h5>\n

Galvin<\/a>, a family\u2013run collection of restaurants founded by Michelin star brothers, is offering free meals for children\u00a014th February- 22nd February.<\/p>\n

If Vietnamese street food is your thing then get over to Pho<\/a>\u00a0for another freebie for the kids. For free Brazilian fare get over to Cabana.<\/a><\/p>\n

Londoners can get childrens’ meals for free at Le Pont de la Tour<\/a>\u00a0right by Tower Bridge.<\/p>\n

Even Gordon Ramsay<\/a> is getting in on the act. Go to his restaurants from February 17th and children eat for free from the Tilly’s Treats menu.<\/p>\n

\"Half<\/p>\n

Travel<\/h2>\n

National Express<\/a> is offering half-priced children’s fares on its coaches this February half term. Just enter your travel details in its journey planner and the discount will be automatically applied at checkout. Get exploring!<\/p>\n

Southeastern<\/a> trains have Kids for a Quid<\/a>\u00a0all year round. If you buy one valid off-peak adult ticket on the operator’s services you can take up to four children for \u00a31 each. Tickets need to be booked online or at the ticket office (not available from machines). Check terms and conditions before travelling.<\/p>\n

Kids travel for \u00a32<\/a> each on Southern<\/a> if accompanied by a full-paying adult off-peak. Again check the terms and conditions first.<\/p>\n

Lots of other train operators offer similar discounts so check online and bag yourself a bargain.<\/p>\n
